Late Summer

Now that we've had our Labor Day three-day weekend and traditional end-of-summer, the weather's gotten nice. Actually, for about a week or ten days before Labor Day it got nice and warm, real t-shirt and bare feet weather, even if it was still overcast. Vivani finally finished shedding her winter coat. I won't say she looks ratty, but even the guys in our gaming group asked if she was okay.

Over the last few days the fog's gone on vacation. We can see the stars again! But that means it's chilly enough before the sun clears the hills in the morning that I can see my breath. That poor tropical fruit of a cat does not know what to do...but this is what it's been looking like most mornings:
