It's in the style of the classic 40s panther tattoo, but instead of being black it's tabby-colored—it's my memorial tattoo for Izzy Vasquez, my dearly departed cat, and a true hell-raiser.
I would've posted a picture, but the battery on my camera is depleted.
Mine's a black dragon, about the width of my palm, with fiery red eyes.
I had talked a good game about getting a tattoo, but various different things that week confounded the process. Then, late that Friday night, walking to the bus stop, I got held up at gunpoint. Which was just the beginning of a looooong night. Took me over the edge and I got the tattoo the very next day.
I got it the same day a really horrible movie, "DragonHeart", came out, where the CGI dragon was voiced by Sean Connery. I call my dragon Sean.
Naw -- they're playing that game where you lock arms then lift each other up on your back. It's amusing for about three minutes.
Sitting on each other's feet and rocking back and forth is good for maybe five, six minutes, or until someone smashes into the ground and runs crying to mom.
I am getting a tattoo. My dad's designing it. But it's been delayed, as the sketchbook with the tattoo designs in it got left in a men's room in SFO when Dad had a layover, and...well, it's a long story.
Bluemonkey has said that she'll get the tattoo with me. But I may have to get her drunk first. That'll be a challenge.

A tattoo, yay! I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours...

From here on I will address all my comments to Sean.
is the lion presenting the zebra as a snack?
I'm not sure how else to parse that image...

I ditto the wanting of a picture. I'll have Chemical Billy take one of Sean this weekend.
It's true. I hardly ever indulge. And if you believe that, I have ocean-front property in Kansas for sale...
Chemical Billy and I are going to get matching tattoos! As if we aren't already starting to resemble each other.
Okay, here it is
Bones, I dig the cat! Especially the claw marks...
I must agree. Coolness. And the claw marks give it that littl something extra.
For it to be a true Miss Izzy memorial, it had to have clawmarks. She was, as my mom would say, full of piss and vinegar.
Hey Billy, I'll buy you your first drink after you get the tattoo. Same goes for you, Blue Monkey.
